Keanu Reeves And J-Pop Star Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Are Straight Out Of Naruto With These Moves

We’re so lucky to live in this timeline.

J-Pop star Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, whose song “Ninja Re Bang Bang” is used in the film, joined internet darling Keanu Reeves and the film’s director Chad Stahelski at the Japanese premiere of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo. After Kyary presented Keanu with a bouquet of flowers, he responded by praising her work.

It’s been lovely to meet you and I was watching some of your work, which I think is so interesting, not only entertaining but also has great philosophy and heart.

Stahelski explained that they chose to use Kyary’s song in juxtaposition with the intensity of the action scene which it is used in. After briefly discussing the movie a bit more, a “real” ninja flipped onto the stage to teach them hand seals to ward off bad luck and garner success for the film.

The superstars went through a quick crash course with their ninja guide before he taught the audience how to do the moves.

A keen martial artist, Keanu seemed to catch on fairly quickly.

The trio waited to do the last move in the nine-count series of hand motions…

… Which Keanu completed with the enthusiasm that has come to be expected of the internet’s favorite cinnamon roll.

After learning and completing all the hand motions, the group posed for press photos before Keanu closed the event by thanking everyone for coming.

Thank you very much for coming. It’s the last stop and place of the journey for John Wick Chapter 3 for Chad and I so it’s a great honor for us to be here and to share this film with you and we hope you enjoy it. Thank you.
