We all know TWICE‘s Jeongyeon and her sister, actress Gong Seung Yeon are incredibly close. But how has their relationship changed since they moved in with each other?
Throughout the years, fans have gotten glimpses of the bond between the sisters, and it’s very clear from their interactions that they love each other.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, Gong Seung Yeon revealed that she and Jeongyeon have lived together for roughly half a year now. Now that they live together, their dynamic has shifted.
Gong Seung Yeon told Cosmopolitan Korea that she and Jeongyeon have less conversations now than before they lived together. However, this doesn’t mean they’re not as close as they were before. Now that they live together, they see each other more often than they used to and they don’t have to spend as much time talking to catch up on what’s going on in each other’s lives.
Ironically, it feels like our conversations with each other have diminished since we live together. When we lived apart, I think we talked more and more about what was going on, but these days we just have a lot of everyday conversations like ‘Are you home?’ and ‘Hey, what are you doing?’ We’re a great family.

The two sisters also have more opportunities to joke around with each other now that they’re roommates. Gong Seung Yeon revealed that she asked Jeongyeon what she wanted for her birthday, and Jeongyeon jokingly said she wants her “sister to leave the house” because Gong Seung Yeon is a self-proclaimed homebody. She told Cosmopolitan Korea that she has a “very homely temperament” and that she’s happiest when she’s laying down and watching Netflix.
Now that they live together, Jeongyeon can run lyric ideas by Gong Seung Yeon. During her interview, Gong Seung Yeon said she helps Jeongyeon with lyrics, so it sounds like the sisters are finding time to be creative together!
The two are also fostering a puppy together. Jeongyeon recently started an Instagram account to find a home for Yuki, the puppy they’re currently taking care of.
Although they have less conversations these days, it definitely looks like living together has brought these 2 sisters closer. Now that they don’t have to spend as much time catching up with each other when they see each other, they have more time to deepen their bond, hang out with Yuki and their dog Peanut, and work on music together!
