BTS‘s V and SHINee‘s Minho may be from two different generations of K-Pop, but that hasn’t stopped them from striking up an adorable friendship. But one recently resurfaced photo of a hug between the two will have you in stitches when you see the hidden surprise.
Minho and V don’t often meet up in public, but when they do, fans are always guaranteed to see some cute interactions. At the Golden Disc Awards back in 2017, for example, the audience caught the two holding hands and gazing into each other eyes.
Even when V got distracted by a toy, he never let go of his hyung‘s hand. Aww!
But the pair’s funniest interaction came at the 2016 Music Bank Special Stage in Gyeongju. Minho was there to perform SHINee’s latest hit, “Tell Me What to Do”.
V and the rest of BTS, meanwhile, treated the crowd to a rousing performance of “Blood, Sweat & Tears”.
Naturally, the two friends found each other during the ending stage, and Minho was quick to pull his beloved dongsaeng into a hug… kinda. While this photo may look tender and innocent at first, just wait until you scroll to the bottom.
No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. Yes, that is Minho grabbing V’s butt in broad daylight!
The hilarious photo recently resurfaced on Korean forum Pann, where it racked up over 60,000 views in less than 24 hours. The original poster remarked, “I clicked on the photo and thought~ Oh, it’s so nice to see two handsome men hugging“—but then they scrolled down.
The replies from netizens were just as bemused and many were in stitches, describing Minho as “an innocent face with not so innocent hands“. And the whole thing is even funnier when you see it play out in real time—just look how confident and firm Minho’s squeezes are!
Of course, who could blame him? Minho and V are very close friends—in this case, literally.
