RM Changed The Lyrics To “Pied Piper” At BTS’s 5th Muster In Japan

He changed the meaning of these lyrics by changing one word.

Recently, BTS celebrated their 5th Muster with ARMY in Chiba, Japan. One of the highlights was “Pied Piper”, a seductively sweet song about fans’ priorities (aka BTS vs Life’s Responsibilities).

In the original lyrics, RM raps about how fans should stop spending all their study time looking at BTS video clips, pictures, tweets, etc, because without realizing it, an entire year can slip by.

Stop
Now stop watching and study for your test
Your parents and boss hate me
Video clips, pictures, tweets
V app, Bon Voyage
I know, you can’t help what you like
But stop, interpret the music video later
You have so many pictures of me in your room anyway
It’s not just one hour, it’s a whole year that’ll disappear
So this song is an award I’m giving to you
Good

— Pied Piper (English translation)

For Muster, however, RM changed “your parents and boss hate me” to “your parents and boss like me”. What a flex!

Looks like ARMY’s parents and bosses have also followed the sound of BTS’s flute. There’s no going back now!
