Yonghwa’s “One Fine Day” grabs top spot on Billboard’s World Albums chart

CNBLUE Yonghwa’s One Fine Day topped the Billboard’s World Albums chart during his debut week, demonstrating his international presence as an artist!

One Fine Day ranked #1 on the World Albums chart for the Week of February 7th due to its explosive popularity. The album was released internationally in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Macau, and its release on iTunes has also been well received.

One Fine Day is Yonghwa’s solo debut album, released almost six years after his debut with CNBLUE in 2009. The artist has been working with international design group Storm Studios with plans to release a limited edition of the album in February.

This is not the vocalist’s first time at the top of this chart. CNBLUE’s Re:Blue topped the chart in 2013 and it solidified the band’s international recognition as a group with their hot track “I’m Sorry,” which performed well both domestically and internationally.

In other news, Yonghwa recently posted pictures and revealed that he will be releasing the music video for “Checkmate”, which features Mandopop super star JJ Lin, on January 30th.
