YG Entertainment responds strongly to unauthorized selling of “Eyes, Nose, Lips” accompaniment

YG Entertainment has issued a response with regards to American singer Derrick Bullock claiming that Taeyang’s track “Eyes, Nose, Lips” was his.

On January 10th, YG Entertainment revealed through a statement that they will be taking a strong stance and pursuing legal action against Derrick Bullock’s unauthorized release of Taeyang’s track “Eyes, Nose, Lips.”

The agency further issued a warning on music streaming and downloading websites such as YouTube, iTunes and other platforms to also halt sales of Derrick Bullock’s track “Change Me,” and added that they will be tougher in monitoring and penalizing such unauthorized use to further prevent a recurrence.

The response from YG Entertainment came after initial reports about amateur American artist Derrick Bullock releasing the track “Change Me” on YouTube and iTunes, while using the accompaniment from Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips” on the track. However, the incident escalated as the singer claimed that the track was his originally and was stolen by the agency.

The description citing these claims has since been deleted, but the link to the track, which is still available for purchase on iTunes, remains.
