Yang Hyun Suk Acquitted of Charges for Soliciting Prostitution to Foreign Businessmen

It was due to insufficient evidence.

According to Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office, Yang Hyun Suk‘s charges for soliciting prostitution were acquitted due to insufficient evidence, and as a result, the related person of an adult entertainment establishment, its employee, as well as a businessman from Southeast Asia, who were sent over to the prosecution, were exempted from indictment.

Despite having opened an additional investigation on the case, the prosecution ruled that there were insufficient testimonies and evidence to support the charges.

Prior to this ruling, Yang Hyun Suk was suspected of soliciting prostitution to a Malaysian businessman, and although the police confirmed that the meeting took place, they were unable to collect sufficient testimonies and evidence to prove that prostitution took place as well.

Aside from these charges, Yang Hyun Suk is currently under investigation for suspicions of expedition gambling with BIGBANG‘s Seungri as well as covering up iKON B.I‘s purchase and use of drugs.
