Kwanghee, Jo Se Ho, and Nam Chang Hee Named As New MCs of “Weekly Idol”

The trio’s chemistry is coming soon!

It’s been ten days since Kwanghee was discharged from his mandatory military service, and he’s already booked and busy!

Amongst the many love calls, it seems that Kwanghee is remaining loyal to MBC — the channel that made him a superstar through Infinity Challenge.

Kwanghee will be one of the new MC’s for Weekly Idol, a perfect position for him as he has many personal relationships with idols and of course lived the life of an idol as a ZE:A member.

Joining him will be comedian and self-proclaimed Hallyu star Jo Se Ho who is currently a fixed cast on Happy TogetherWhere On Earth and Yoo Kids On The Block. He was also a member of Infinity Challenge after Kwanghee left for the army.

The third host will be Jo Se Ho’s comedic partner Nam Chang Hee. He’s guested on many programs like Infinity ChallengeMy Little Television, and Knowing Brother. You may remember the pair’s chemistry in My Love From The Stars.

The three will be replacing the current hosts Yoo Se Yoon, Kim Shin Young, and Lee Sang Min. Other changes coming to the show include a new director, PD Im Yeon Jung. The three new MCs will “debut” on January 9th at 5 p.m. KST!

“With a combination of MCs who will approach the viewers and idols in a fun and intimate style, you can look forward to seeing a new version of Weekly Idol created by three MCs with different colors.”
