TWICE Continues To Grow Their Popularity Overseas, Second Japanese Album Ranked 1st On Oricon Daily

TWICE continues to go from strength-to-strength.

TWICE have once again proven their popularity in Japan!

Their new album &TWICE recorded 80,563 points and came in at first place in the Oricon Daily Album Ranking.

Prior to the release of their new Japanese album, the lead song “Fake & True” was released on October 18, along with its music video. The song shot up the real-time chart of Japan LINE Music and the music video also gained popularity due to the vast appeal of TWICE.

Since the release of their debut album in Japan in 2017, they’ve achieved eight consecutive platinum albums (certified by the Japan Record Association for albums exceeding 250,000 shipments).

TWICE has been gaining attention by confirming their appearance on NHK‘s Kouhaku Uta Gassen for their third consecutive year, which is a big honor for a foreign group, particularly in consideration of the current tensions between Japan and South Korea.

More recently, the ladies of TWICE were spotted at Tokyo Disney Sea after successfully dropping their second Japanese album amid the extended Japan leg of their world tour. Their next concert will be on November 29 in Aichi, Japan.
