Nine members of the Korean National Assembly have proposed a bill which they reportedly dubbed the “Sulli Act.”

This bill aims to enforce rules against people who post malicious comments and hide behind anonymous usernames.

Representatives from numerous organizations, including the Global Culture & Art Solidarity, Federation of Korean Trade Unions, and Korean Government Employee’s Union, will make up a portion of the 100 organizations supporting the bill. Another 200 celebrities who have either been a victim of malicious comments or knew Sulli through work will also stand behind the bill.

The subcommittee will be held in December at the National Assembly’s Hall.
