The accusations of sexual assault made by Garo Sero Institute are false. We’ll be consulting a lawyer concerning legal action for spreading false rumors and defamation of character.

The YouTube video showed lawyer Kang Yong Suk, and former reporter Kim Yong Ho accused Kim Gun Mo of sexual assault and citing an anonymous woman who goes by “A.” According to the video, “A” was an employee at a bar in Seoul, and she claims that Kim Gun Mo assaulted her during his visit to the bar. In the video, Kang and Kim say,

Kim Gun Mo arrived at the bar alone at 1AM in a Batman t-shirt. He didn’t order hard liquor but opted for soju instead. The victim drew a plan of the interior and said that Kim Gun Mo was stationed in room 9.

The victim was the 8th woman to enter the room Kim Gun Mo was in, but he told the other woman to leave excpet for her. He also told the waiter to not let anyone else in. After, he requested “A” to come into the bathroom and forced her to commit oral sex. He then forced her onto the sofa and started to sexually assault her.

The victim stated that she did not scream for help during the incident, claiming that since there were 17 rooms in the ar, no one would hear her. Kang and Kim claim that they secured lots of evidence to be able to verify the accusations, but also stated they would not be revealing the evidence since they were sure Kim Gun Mo’s label would respond.

A formal complaint will be filed on December 9.
