Kang Daniel Dominates Gaon Charts With A Quadruple Crown For YELLOW Album

Kang Daniel has been dominating this week’s Gaon charts with his latest album!

On April 22, Gaon Chart officially announced that Kang Daniel had earned a quadruple crown for the week of April 11 to April 17.

Not only did his album YELLOW hit number 1, but its title track “Antidote” did too! In fact, “Antidote reached the top for 3 different charts” overall digital chart, digital download chart, and the BGM chart which tracks which songs people are using as background music such as in blogs and KakaoTalk profiles.

Let’s look at the top five for each of the charts below!

Physical Album Chart

Kang Daniel’s YELLOW debuted at Number 1 for this week’s chart!

In the next few spots came SHINee’s Atlantis at Number 2, EXO Baekhyun’s Bambi at Number 3, and Hwang Chi Yeol’s Be My Reason at Number 4.

At Number 5 comes the OST for EXO Chanyeol’s movie The Box, which features songs from Chanyeol himself, as well as, Aancod, Kim Ji Hyun, Ecobridge, and more.

Digital Download Chart

Kang Daniel’s “Antidote” dominated the chart at Number 1, with SHINee’s Atlantis once again following closely behind at Number 2.

Im Young Woong’s “My Starry Love” came in at Number 3, with Davichi’s “Just Hug Me” at Number 4, and IU’s “LILAC” holding strong at Number 5.

Overall Digital Chart

Kang Daniel’s “Antidote” topped the overall digital chart this week!

It was trailed by IU’s “LILAC” in second, Brave Girls’ “Rollin’” at third, IU’s “Celebrity” fourth, and Justin Bieber’s “Peaches” in fifth.
