GOT7‘s Jinyoung is back in the studio, and you know what that means…

Jinyoung shared an update by posting on his Instagram Stories. It was a brief video showing that he was busy working in the studio. That’s not all, though. He also captioned it by calling out the GOT7 fandom, iGOT7 (also known as Ahgases), teasing them with upcoming music.
iGOT7s are curious about what we’re working on🥴
Jinyoung has surely been busy recently. He starred in two great K-Dramas, The Devil Judge and Yumi’s Cells. And, the latter will be releasing a second season.
Despite having a successful acting career, he is, of course, also a musician. So, last year, he released his self-composed solo song “DIVE.”
Still, it seems like now more than ever, the GOT7 members are hinting at a possibility of a comeback. It has been a year since “Encore” now, and leader Jay B said they plan to release an album every year.
We want to try to release at least one album a year. It would be great if we could perform on stage, too. I’ve talked a lot with the members about how we feel during specific times in our lives and discuss what topics and themes we want to include in our albums. I think that’s the least courtesy we can offer to the fans.
— Jay B
Recently, the group celebrated their 8th anniversary with an Instagram Live, including all seven members. And, if that wasn’t enough to make us almost certain that there will be a comeback soon…

BamBam low-key confirmed that a comeback has already been planned among the members during the live showcase for his new album B. Despite his best efforts of avoiding spoilers, he still let some slip…

If it is not a full group comeback that Jinyoung is teasing (though it seems plausible), there’s always the possibility of another solo. However, perhaps it’s a sub-unit project.

Not only have we seen Jinyoung and Jay B individually in what appears the same studio, but they posted just two minutes apart yesterday (KST). Their sub-unit group JJ Project tends to make releases every five years. Previously, they dropped new music in 2012 and 2017. So, 2022 would make five years since the last release.

What do you think Jinyoung is cooking up in the studio?
