Former Roo’Ra Member Go Young Wook Greets The World For The First Time Since His Release From Prison

He says he wants to be connected with the world.

Former Roo’Ra member Go Young Wook is making headlines for posting onto social media accounts for the first time since his release from prison in 2015.

Previously, Go Young Wook was charged with inappropriately touching and sexually assaulting 3 minors between July 2010 to December 2012. He was sentenced to prison for 2.5 years before being released in 2015. After his release in 2015, he was required to wear an ankle monitor for 3 years and has had that taken off in 2018. Since then, he’s been keeping out of the limelight. That is, until now.

On November 12, Go Young Wook made an Instagram account and posted his first ever social media post since his prison release. This is what he had to say:

Hello everyone, it’s Go Young Wook. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to greet you all…it’s been a hard time for everyone due to the Coronavirus…it’s been 9 years since that I’ve been disconnected with the world and I realized that as long as I’m alive, I can’t continue to live like that…which is why I carefully decided that I would like to reconnect with the world. I know that I still lack a lot as a person…but I will work hard to reflect so that I can be a better person! Please be healthy everyone!

While no one knows what the intent behind the post is, people are starting to speculate that he may be seeking to return to the entertainment industry.
