BTS’s V Is Hanging Out With Fans To Protect Them From COVID-19

He is putting ARMY’s safety first.

BTS‘s loves ARMY, and he’ll do anything to keep them safe. Sometimes all it takes is spending time with them.

Just a day after BTS’s hotteok spree on Weverse, V dropped by the app again to chat and drop spoilers. When a fan posted about visiting BTS’s Map of the Soul pop-up store, V urged them to take precautions.

Wear your mask and swim goggles too, but please go home if there’s too many people there.

A moment later, V decided that wearing a mask (and goggles?) wasn’t enough. Worried, he asked them not to visit the store at all. “I’m sorry,” he wrote. “but please don’t go if possible ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Sorry ㅠㅠ.”

When another fan complained about their father not letting them go to the store because of COVID-19, V sided with the father. “Your father’s right,” he said. “Don’t go browsing for 30 minutes, instead spend 30 minutes with me.”

True to his word, V stayed and chatted with ARMY. Why would they go out when they could stay home and play word games with the one and only V? He was having so much fun that he didn’t know how much time had passed until a fan pointed it out.

Has it been 30 minutes?

In fact, V posted so many times that Jin eventually popped in.

Fan: Taehyung-ah [V]…thanks for playing with us like a friend would.

V: We’re friends.

Jin: He’s the reason why my phone is buzzing.

Who knows? V might have saved a life just by being a good friend.
