BTS Competing For TIME’s 100 Most Influential People Of 2018… And They’re Winning

These boys just keep coming out on top!

BTS is proving they are global superstars once again! Every year, TIME magazine publishes a list of the world’s top 100 most significant artists, leaders, scientists, activists, and entrepreneurs.

The voting for this year’s list of TIME 100 features a wide range of exceptional people. It includes people like Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim, Pope Francis, Grammy Award winner Bruno Mars, former president Barack Obama, and, of course, BTS!

Not only is it exciting that BTS is on the list, but they are also the only K-Pop artist featured.

And to top it off, they are leading the polls! BTS is in first place with 15% of votes. In second place is the President of South Korea, Moon Jae In and third place is Barack Obama.

But what might be even more amazing is the margin that BTS is currently leading. They are ahead by 10%! It really shouldn’t be a surprise because the boys’ popularity is outstanding!

This also shows how global and hardworking A.R.M.Ys are. They’ve worked hard in the past to get the group over 300 million votes at the Billboard Music Awards, and just last week BTS’s Twitter engagement was so high it blew everyone else out of the water!

More and more people are declaring themselves to be a member of A.R.M.Y!

While the final decision for the TIME 100 will be made by the editors of the magazine, they highly value their readers’ thoughts and take the poll results seriously. Voting is open until April 19, with the official results announced shrotly after!
