5 Red Velvet Seulgi Dance Covers That Prove Just How Skilled She Is

Her dance skills are out of this world 🤩

Red Velvet‘s main dancer Seulgi always shows off her skills in the group’s choreographies, but her dance covers give an even closer look at just how talented she is. Let’s take a look at five Seulgi dance covers that prove she’s one of the best dancers of the third generation.

1. “Money Bag” – Cardi B

Seulgi posted her cover of Cardi B’s “Money Bag” on her Instagram account back in March 2020. The video, a collaboration with dancer Youjin, has gained over 2.1 million views and 600,000 likes on the app so far. “Money Bag” is one of the covers that showcases Seulgi’s great hip-hop dancing skills the best as well as her charisma.

2. “Hi Bich” – Bhad Bhabie

Aside from “Money Bag,” Seulgi blessed her fans with another cover in March—this time a powerful dance to a remix of Bhad Bhabie’s “Hi Bich.” The performance video on Seulgi’s Instagram has now surpassed 3.2 million views 816,000 likes.

The cover was so great, Bhad Bhabie herself liked and commented on Seulgi’s post.

3. “bury a friend” – Billie Eilish

Brought to the K-Pop spotlight by Seulgi and Irene through their unit debut as Red Velvet – Irene & Seulgi, tutting seems to be one of Seulgi’s specialties. She often posts videos of her practicing different moves with her teacher, Spella, and her cover of Billie Eilish’s “bury a friend” was one that left an impression in particular. Uploaded to Instagram this September, the video has gained over 4.3 million views and 1.1 million likes.

4. “Make a Wish” – NCT U

Red Velvet’s main dancer surrounds herself with some of the biggest stars in K-Pop, and one of them is NCT’s Taeyong. They’re such close friends that when fans asked Seulgi to do a cover of NCT U’s song “Make a Wish,” Taeyong decided to join her. Seulgi is known as one of the most charismatic girl group dancers, so her boy group style dancing always makes made a lot of noise. The cover posted earlier this June has gained over 2.7 million views so far.

5. “Courtship” – Sunwoojunga

Alongside being one of the most known and talented idols in K-Pop, Seulgi has recently started dabbling in MC-ing. She even has her own show on NAVER NOWSeulgi.zip, which plays host to numerous different artists from K-Pop idols to K-R&B stars. When it was Sunwoojunga’s turn, Seulgi had prepared a gift for her as well as ReVeluvs. She performed a tutting cover of Sunwoojunga’s “Courtship” which blew not only ReVeluvs, but all K-Pop fans away!
