Over the years, the BTS members have gotten to live their fanboy dreams by interacting with some of their favorite artists. Here are 4 of these moments.
1. RM’s nervous meeting with Nas
In BTS’s guest appearance in MBC Radio‘s Bae Cheol Soo’s Music Camp, the members were asked who their biggest musical influences are. RM shared that for him, it’s always been rapper Nas.
RM then shared that he met Nas at the 2020 Grammys!
The other members then spoke about how nervous RM was. They shared that RM couldn’t talk properly, and J-Hope said that he had never seen RM so nervous before!
2. Jimin’s interaction with Usher
Jimin is a big fan of American singer Usher, and they recently had a small interaction! In BTS’s song “Butter,” V has the lines, “Smooth like butter, pull you in like no other. Don’t need no Usher to remind me you’ve got it bad.” This was a reference to Usher’s song “U Got It Bad.”
Usher saw this and responded with a TikTok video!
ARMYs (BTS’s fandom) soon began mentioning BTS in this video, hoping that Jimin would see it. A few days later, BTS finally responded to the video!
3. Suga almost collaborating with T.I
On MBC Radio‘s Bae Cheol Soo’s Music Camp, Suga shared that the artist who influenced him the most is rapper T.I.
When asked if he ever has called T.I for a potential collaboration, Suga shared that he was going to work on a remix with T.I and that T.I was going to be included in his mixtape. Unfortunately, things didn’t end up working out due to timing.
Actually, I was going to work on a remix with [T.I.], but I couldn’t. He was going to [be a part of] my mixtape, but the timing didn’t work out
4. Jungkook meeting Ariana Grande
Jungkook recently shared that Ariana Grande inspires him as an artist and that he was amazed when he attended her concert!
I was really impressed by her stage presence. She’s a very small person, and the volume of her singing and what she was able to do was really moving, really impressive.
