Kim Woo Bin was in hiatus for a couple of years, until it was recently revealed that he would be making his long-awaited return in the film Alien.
2. Moon Geun Young
Moon Geun Young had to go through emergency surgery to treat her acute compartment syndrome. Moon Geun Young also had to postpone her activities to heal, as she had to get more surgeries through time. After some time off from acting, Moon Geun Young made her K-Drama comeback on Catch the Ghost.
3. Jung Il Woo
Jung Il Woo was diagnosed with a cerebral aneurysm in 2016. He ended up developing depression and anxiety after the diagnosis. Jung Il Woo didn’t even leave his house for a month due to his mental health. After gathering himself, he decided to let go and go on a vacation, as he didn’t want to live that way anymore.
4. Choi Sung Won
Choi Sung Won was enjoying his career as an actor when he was suddenly diagnosed with acute leukemia. This caused him to drop all his acting projects to focus on his recovery. Choi Sung Won is now cancer-free and is continuing his career as an actor.

Shin Dong Wook was diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome when he was serving in the military. His condition forced him to get discharged early to start his recovery process.
