17 K-Pop Idol Groups That Have Released None Or Only A Few Full-Length Albums Since Debut

With so many K-Pop idol groups in the Korean music industry, the competition can be fierce, causing groups to release more mini or small albums rather than full-length official ones. Here’s a list of several idol groups that have released significantly less full-length albums compared to the years’ they’ve been in the industry.

1. NU’EST

NU’EST debuted in 2012 and have only released one full-length album in 2014 with the title track “Good Bye Bye.” Since then, 5 years and 10 months have passed and they still have yet to release one.

2. Oh My Girl

Oh My Girl debuted in 2015 and only released their first full-length album in 2019 with the title track “The Fifth Season.” It took them 4 years and one month to release their first full-length album. They released a repackage album in August of 2019.

3. ONF

ONF debuted in 2017 and has not released a single full-length album since their debut.

4. MAMAMOO

MAMAMOO debuted in 2014 and have released two full-length albums. Their most recently full-length album was in 2019 with the title song “Hip.” It took three years and nine months for their most recent full-length album release.

5. TWICE

TWICE debuted in 2015 and has released only one full-length album in 2017 with the title track “Likey.” It has been two years and seven months since then and they still have yet to release another full-length album.

6. Apink

Apink debuted in 2011 and has released three full-length albums in that time. Their most recent full-length album was in 2016 with “Only One.” Even after three years and eight months they have yet to release another full-length album.

7. INFINITE

INFINITE debuted in 2010 and has released only three full-length albums since then. Their most recent full-length album was in 2018 with the title track “Tell Me.” It took three years and eleven months for them to release their second full-length album and another three years and eight months to release their third full-length album. Currently, it has been two years and four months since their last full-length album.

8. BTOB

BTOB debuted in 2012 and has released two full-length albums since then. Their latest full-length album was in 2017 with their title track “Missing You.” It has been two years and seven months since then and they have yet to release another full-length album.

9. AOA

AOA debuted in 2012 and has released only one full-length album since their debut. It took them four years and five months to release their first full-length album in 2017 with the title track “Excuse Me.” It has been three years and four months since their last full-length album.

10. VICTON

VICTON debtued in 2016 and they have yet to release a full-length album.

11. APRIL

APRIL debuted in 2015 and they have yet to release a full-length album

12. SF9

SF9 debuted in 2016 and they have released one full-length album in 2020, taking three years and three months to finally release their first full-length album.

13. BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK debuted in 2016 and they have yet to release a full-length album.

14. NCT DREAM

NCT DREAM debuted in 2016 and they have yet to release a full-length album.

15. Lovelyz

Lovelyz debuted in 2014 and have released two full-length albums since their debut. Their most recent full-length album was in 2017 with “WoW!” They released a repackage album later that same year. It has been three years since they have released another full-length album.

16. ASTRO

ASTRO debuted in 2016 and has released one full-length album in 2019 with “Call Me.” It took them two years and eleven months to release their first full-length album.

17. Red Velvet

Red Velvet debuted in 2014 and released two full-length albums during that time. Their most recent full-length release was in 2017 with “Peekaboo.” They released a repackage album a year later in 2018. It has been two years and four months since their last full-length album.
