They vanished into thin air.

1. MBlossom

MBlossom was a 4-member boy group who made their debut on March 24th, 2017 with their mini-album, Play. Their group name was a combination of “music” and “blossom”, suggesting that the group would bloom in the industry, but that was unfortunately not the case.

Although an official disbandment announcement was not made, the group has all but vanished from social media, and has not released new music since 2017.

2.  B.I.T

B.I.T (“Burning Time”) was a 5-member boy group under SD Entertainment. They officially debuted on March 30, 2017 with their debut single “Special Love”. ‘

On August 27, 2017, B.I.T came under fire for alleged plagiarism when they released their promotional photos for their second digital single, “Why”. These promotional photos were criticized for resembling VIXX‘s promotional photos for “Jekyll”.

In October 2017, only 7 months after the group debuted, B.I.T announced their disbandment.

ELVIN CREW’s official Instagram hasn’t been updated since September 2017, their official Facebook hasn’t been updated since November 2017, and their last official tweet was made on July 4 2017.

4. M.Pire

M.Pire was a 7-member group signed under CMG Chorok Stars that debuted on August 1, 2013. Their name combined “music” and “vampire”, indicating that M.Pire needed music to survive. Unforunately, music wasn’t enough to keep this boy group going.

M.Pire seemed to have gotten off to a strong start. They won the “Rising Star” award at the 2013 Hawaii International Music Award Festivalthe “Rookie Award” at the Korean Wave Industry Awards, and the “New Star Award” at the 2014 Asia Model Festival Awards.

Fans are still divided about whether or not the group officially disbanded, but what is known is that M.Pire has only released three albums, 2013 to 2014.

5. DEMION

DEMION debuted in September 2013 as a 5-member group with the mini-album Ask Her Out. The album featured three tracks: “Ask Her Out”, “Street At Dawn”, and “Roller Coaster”. Those were the only songs the group released.

Fans waited patiently for a comeback, but in 2015 news broke that DEMION had split, reportedly for financial reasons.

6. BB.Boys

Many newer K-Pop fans, and even veteran fans, may not have heard of the 2011 trio BB.Boys. Their debut album featured a collaboration with superstar G.Na, but after Best of Best: First Album dropped, things began fizzling out for the BB.Boys.

The group disbanded only a year later, and two of its three members went on to debut with M.Pire.

7. BoM

This 4-member ballad group made a strong debut in 2011 with their first and only mini album, Burning Rose.

Two years later, the group announced their breakup. After their label, Y2Y Contests Company, closed down the members decided to go separate ways. Some of the original members are still in the industry, including Song Minho, who went on to join WINNER under the stage name Mino.

8. N-Train

N-Train was a 5-member group under MediaLine Entertainment. They debuted in 2011 with their single “One Last Cry”, which got N-Train nominated for “Best New Male Artist” at the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

Sadly, the group released only two other singles: “I’ll Forget You” in 2012 and “eNtrain” in 2013. They disbanded in 2013.

9. N.O.M

In 2013, N.O.M debuted in a way that the K-Pop world had never seen before. This group had a highly sexual, homoerotic concept that received mixed reactions from critics.

Although N.O.M definitely made an impression, the group only released a couple of music videos before vanishing into thin air.

10. TOUCH

TOUCH is 5-member group formed by YYJ Entertainment. They debuted on October 22, 2010 with the single “Me”.

They released songs on and off from 2010 to 2014 before quietly fading into K-Pop history. The group’s end may have been caused by repeated lineup changes; TOUCH has 6 former members and 5 current members. Although this group hasn’t officially disbanded, they haven’t made a comeback since 2014.
